Vigitron, Inc., a manufacturer of high-tech electronic products for security applications, is looking for a talented sales engineer to join our sales team. The individual we are looking for should have a passion for state of art technology and a good understanding of electronic engineering and networking basics.
The candidate should have the capacity to learn and grow into this position which offers the opportunity for further advancement. People to people communication skills are key.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to customers by assessing their problems and providing solutions
- Create system solutions using our products interfacing with IP/PoE cameras, access control, wireless products and LED security lighting.
- Interface with our sales representatives providing education on new products and assessing new industry requirements.
- Communicating new product requirements and problems with existing products to engineering working to find solutions.
- Travel to field locations nationwide to provide customer product training, promote our products and interfacing with our representatives.
- Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
- Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Collect and document competitive intelligence
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
Requirements
- 2+ years of Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or related sales experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in related fields is preferred
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Electronics and Networking technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Good marketing skills and business sense
- Ability to build client relationships easily
