The Vi2400A transmits Ethernet and PoE signals up to 5,000 feet (1,515 meters) using coaxial cables. It extends the reach of network devices, making it perfect for high-resolution cameras and other devices over distances standard Ethernet cables cannot cover. Its small design fits into weatherproof and plenum-rated enclosures, offering flexible installation options while meeting safety standards.
Additionally, it is certified for MegaPixel (MPC™) use, the Vi2400A supports high data rates needed for tasks like Jumbo Frame transmission. It’s ideal for high-resolution cameras requiring reliable data throughput. Its Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) technology ensures full bandwidth transmission with consistent speeds and Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™). This is critical for security systems with multiple cameras.
