Overview
The Vigitron MPoE™ Vi30406U is a high-performance PoE switch engineered for robust power delivery and seamless network integration. It features four copper ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at/bt (Class 0–8) PoE, delivering up to 90W per port with a total PoE power budget of 360W.
In addition to standard PoE, the switch supports select non-standard PoE devices up to 72W, making it an ideal solution for powering a wide variety of PoE cameras and network devices across multiple manufacturers. It is especially well-suited for upgrading existing systems to support devices that require higher or newer PoE standards.
The Vi30406U features Vigitron’s exclusive Managed PoE (MPoE™) technology, delivering advanced and comprehensive PoE management and messaging in a user-friendly format. This enables powerful programming capabilities without requiring in-depth network expertise, making integration simple and efficient.
Equipped with two independent 1G/2.5G/10G fiber uplink ports, the Vi30406U offers flexible, high-speed connectivity to support robust system integration. Its high-performance switch fabric, large internal bandwidth, and advanced PoE management make it an ideal solution for Main Distribution Frame (MDF) applications where reliability, scalability, and power control are critical.
The Vi30406U provides maximum protection and reliability. In addition to monitoring if required resetting is providing PoE to individual ports, two separate Watchdogs monitor operating voltage and internal communications every 15 seconds providing protection and auto restart.
