The Vigitron MaxiiCopper™ Vi2301A UTP Ethernet extender extends data and PoE transmission beyond the standard 328 feet. It transmits over UTP cables up to 3,000 feet (914 meters). This makes it perfect for large areas like parking lots, campuses, and warehouses where extended network coverage is necessary.
Additionally, the Vi2301A is plug-and-play, eliminating the need for switch configurations or network programming. This greatly simplifies the installation process. It also supports Pass-Through PoE (PTP™), providing up to 74W of power through a single PoE source. This feature powers both transceivers and connected devices, such as cameras, without needing additional power at remote locations.
Moreover, the Vi2301A integrates Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) technology, ensuring balanced upload and download speeds across its entire operational range. Its Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™) feature guarantees reliable data transmission, which is essential for high-definition video streams and multi-IP camera setups.
The device is Mega-Pixel Certified (MPC™), allowing it to handle the high bandwidth required by megapixel cameras and multi-camera systems. Furthermore, it supports Jumbo Frame transmission, crucial for maintaining high-quality video streams. The SBW™ technology ensures consistent upload and download speeds with minimal packet loss.
Additionally, the Vi2301A supports both one-pair and four-pair UTP wiring and is tested to meet RFC-2544 TCP/IP standards. It operates reliably under extreme temperatures from -40°C to +75°C, adhering to NEMA-TS2 standards, which makes it suitable for tough environments.
Available in multiple port configurations, the Vi2301A offers flexibility for small and large installations. Its compact design easily integrates into camera housings and junction boxes.
