The Vigitron MaxiiCopper™ Vi2404A is a 4-port Coax extender built for high-speed Ethernet and PoE transmission over long distances. It transmits Ethernet and PoE up to 5,000 feet (1,515 meters), making it perfect for applications needing reliable data and power transmission over extended distances, such as warehouses, parking lots, campuses, and casinos.
The Vi2404A supports Pass-Through PoE (PTP™), compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at standards, delivering up to 36W per port. It efficiently powers devices like IP cameras without needing extra power supplies at remote locations.
MegaPixel Certified (MPC™), the Vi2404A handles the high data rates needed for transmitting video from megapixel cameras. It also supports Jumbo Frames, enabling large data transfers without sacrificing speed or quality. This makes it ideal for surveillance systems where maintaining video quality is crucial.
Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) technology ensures full bandwidth transmission over long distances. This provides consistent upload and download speeds with Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™), a vital feature for multiple cameras transmitting data simultaneously.
The Vi2404A has undergone testing under RFC-2544 standards for bandwidth efficiency and NEMA-TS2 standards for extreme temperature operations. It operates reliably between -40°C and +75°C. It also complies with major IEEE and RFC protocols like UDP, TCP/IP, and HTTP/HTTPS, ensuring compatibility with existing networks.
