March 9, 2016, San Diego, CA; Holland, MI - Code Blue Corporation, the industry-leading manufacturer of emergency communication solutions, and Vigitron Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative video transmission solutions for both IP and analog security systems, are continuing their strategic partnership with the announcement that Vigitron’s single pair extended distance IP and PoE transmission solutions will be included in Code Blue’s solution guide.
The addition to Code Blue’s solution guide will allow any Code Blue products to be positioned up to 1,700 feet from any headend, eliminating the need for local power sources. In addition, Vigitron will include infrastructure design support for Code Blue customers as part of their Design Center services, which are provided for free and without obligation.

Vigitron previously developed a new Power over Ethernet (PoE) Splitter that allowed Code Blue Help Points® to be connected and powered by a Cat5 cable or other PoE sourcing equipment, eliminating the cost of running electrical facilities to blue light phones. The PoE splitter is IEEE 802.3af compliant, which provides power to emergency phones and faceplate or beacon/strobe lights.
