Overview
The Vigitron MaxiiCopper™ Mini Vi2300A UTP Ethernet extender breaks the standard 328-foot Ethernet limit. It extends both data and PoE transmission up to 3,000 feet (914 meters) over UTP cables. Its compact design easily fits into small spaces and works well with weatherproof or plenum-rated enclosures.
Additionally, the Vi2300A is plug-and-play, so no switch configurations or network programming are required. This feature streamlines the installation process. Furthermore, its Pass-Through PoE (PTP™) delivers up to 74W of power. It supports IEEE 802.3af, at, and bt standards. A single PoE source powers both the transceivers and connected devices like cameras. Thus, there is no need for additional power at remote locations.
Moreover, Vigitron’s Symmetric Bandwidth (SBW™) technology guarantees balanced upload and download speeds across the entire operational range. Its Virtual Zero Packet Loss (VZPL™) feature ensures reliable data transmission. This makes it ideal for high-definition video and multi-IP camera setups. It also supports Jumbo Frames, which is crucial for maintaining high-quality video streams without compromising data.
Certified for Mega-Pixel (MPC™) use, the Vi2300A easily handles the high bandwidth needed for megapixel cameras and multi-camera systems. Its SBW™ technology ensures consistent speeds with minimal packet loss, even over long distances.
Designed for simple setup, the Vi2300A needs no network programming or adjustments. It meets RFC-2544 TCP/IP network bandwidth standards, ensuring reliability under various conditions. It operates in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +75°C and supports both one-pair and four-pair UTP wiring.
Available in single, four, eight, and sixteen-port options, the Vi2300A is versatile for both small and large installations. Its compact design easily fits into camera housings and junction boxes. Additionally, compatibility with major protocols like UDP, TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS makes it perfect for locations like warehouses, campuses, and parking lots.
