Overview
The Vigitron MaxiiNet™ Vi31026 is a powerful L2 managed switch, designed for long distance transmission of data and PoE over extended UTP. It offers 24 ports, each delivering up to 36W of PoE power. Four ports provide up to 72W, making it perfect for high-power devices like PTZ cameras. The switch supports both standard and extended-distance use, with eight extended UTP ports transmitting data and video up to 3,000 feet (914 meters).
In addition to the eight extended ports, the Vi31026 includes 16 standard UTP ports and two 1000Mbps uplink ports, ensuring efficient bandwidth usage. It has a 685W power supply, with a PoE budget of 550W.
The Vi31026 offers SNMP for network management and error alerts, helping maintain network stability. It also automatically reconnects IP and PoE devices, minimizing downtime. The PoE power on each port can be programmed individually, preventing overloads and ensuring high-power devices receive the necessary power.
The Vi31026 features a 9Gbps switching fabric, which makes it ideal for high-resolution IP camera networks. It supports programmable multicasting and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), thereby ensuring network redundancy and continuous communication during failures.
On the security front, the switch uses automatic MAC identification and programmable MAC detection to restrict access to authorized devices. Moreover, Web Access Filtering (WAF) and SecurPort™ block unauthorized devices from copying MAC addresses to gain network access.
The Vi31026 includes 16 10/100Mbps ports, 8 extended UTP ports, and two 1000Mbps combination ports.
The Vi31026 complies with FCC Part 15, CE, and RoHS standards and operates in temperatures from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C). It includes a power cord, mounting kit, and a USB drive containing the operations manual.
