Vigitron has announced the Vi22701U, a 2.5G, 90W PoE splitter designed to support security applications that require both PoE connectivity and auxiliary DC power from a single network cable.
The Vi22701U provides PoE on the data output port while also supplying selectable 12/16/24/48VDC power up to 70W for non-PoE devices. This allows installers to power IP cameras, emergency phones, lighting systems, IR illuminators, heaters, blowers, and other auxiliary equipment without running separate power lines.
Designed for hybrid PoE and non-PoE network architectures, the Vi22701U supports 10/100/1G/2.5G Base-T Ethernet and is compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE sources up to 90W. It maintains IP data throughput while helping simplify cabling and reduce the need for local power supplies in security, public safety, transportation, and industrial network deployments.
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, selectable DC output, and flexible mounting options, the Vi22701U is built for demanding installations where reliable power distribution and efficient deployment are essential.
